Austin Bender

Pastor Austin grew up in Northern Indiana and attended Olivet Nazarene University, graduating with a BA in Youth Ministry in May 2009. He was the Youth Pastor at Dayton United Methodist Church for four years. Austin felt God's call to serve within the Nazarene Church and moved across the country to join Sutter Creek Church of the Nazarene as our Youth Pastor in the summer of 2013. On January 17, 2021 Austin will start as the new Lead Pastor of our church.
Austin and his wife, Amber, met at Olivet and were married in May 2009. Amber is a Physician Assistant at Sutter Amador in the Emergency Department. Amber loves being involved with the youth group and is excited to support Austin in his calling. When Austin is not at church, you may find him watching his favorite football team, Da Bears. He loves outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, off-roading, water sports, and paragliding.

Alisa is a graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA with a BA in Christian Ministries. She is married to Aaron and they have two kids: Jocelyn and Noah. Alisa enjoys time with her family, photography, and has a deep love for this county.

Matt is a husband to Jessica, father to Brooklyn & Olivia. He loves God, music, the outdoors, and spending time with family. He graduated Point Loma Nazarene University in 2005 with a BA in Christian Ministries and has served as a pastor in various positions for the last 15 years.
