Promoting NYC!
We’d love to help you with promoting NYC with your students! There are some great videos that you can use on the NYC Website Videos section. There are some social media downloads there as well!
You can also find some really neat stories from previous NYC participants… because that’s what this is all about! Lives changed for God’s kingdom! We think it’s so worth your time to watch a few of these stories to remember the WHY of NYC.
At The Reunion (District Assembly) and at Elevate, we’re giving out handouts, posters, and wristbands that you can use for promotion. Linked below is the graphic for the handouts. Feel free to print lots of copies to get into the hands of your students!
Registration Instructions
FIRST,
Any student/sponsor who wishes to attend NYC will register and pay through their local church. They will submit their NYC 2026 Intent to Register Form and their trip deposit to your local church. You’ll need to know who your “point person” is at your church - whether the youth pastor, another youth leader, or a parent who volunteers to help coordinate!
NEXT,
Your local church will collect and submit the NYC 2026 Intent to Register Forms (note there are separate forms for students and sponsors) and trip deposits to the NYC Sacramento District Registration Team. Links to Intent to Register Forms are at the bottom of this page.
Local churches will submit forms and payments in bulk, with one check from your church (not checks from individuals). Use the NYC Payment Submission Form (linked below), and list each student and sponsor’s name, and the amount of payment you are submitting for each individual. (We highly recommend that you receive payment from individuals before submitting). Write one check from your local church, and add it into a envelope with the NYC Payment Submission Form and the Intent to Register forms.
Payments should be sent via check made payable to Sacramento NYI from your local church to the following address:

To register for NYC, payment needs to be mailed from your church to the Sacramento District NYC Registration Team by the following dates:
September 15, 2025 Initial deposit of $500 per student/sponsor due (Early Bird Conference Registration Fee)
OR November 15, 2025 Initial deposit of $600 per student/sponsor (Standard Conference Registration Fee)
THEN,
The NYC Sacramento District Registration Registration Team will send an Online Registration Link to each NYC participant who has submitted the Intent to Register form and paid their deposit. The link will come to the email address your students/sponsor provided on their Intent to Register Form.
FINALLY,
Each student and sponsor will complete their Online Registration link. They are not fully registered until their online registration link has been completed!
For Early Bird Rate ($1800), participants must complete Online Registration by October 15, 2025.
For Standard Registration Rate ($1900), participants must complete Online Registration by January 15, 2026.
Please note that all registrations completed through the Online Registration link are final. Our District is obligated to pay the $500-$575 Conference registration fee for each registration link we send out, and all travel and other expenses have been negotiated based on group rates. It *may* be possible to swap someone in place of someone else, but cannot be guaranteed. Please contact NYC Coordinator Amber Bender at nyi@sacnaz.org if you encounter this situation.
What happens after registration?
After the initial registration deposit, your students and sponsors will have $1300 left to pay for the trip. We have broken this amount down into multiple payments to help participants with their financial planning. Please share these with your group so they know ahead of time how to save and plan for the trip!
The payment breakdown below is a list of minimum payment that must be paid by the dates listed. At any time, a participant may pay more than the minimum if they desire.
February 1, 2026 Second Payment of $400 due
March 1, 2026 Third Payment of $300 due
April 1, 2026 Fourth Payment of $300 due
May 1, 2026 Fifth Payment of $300 due
Just like with initial registration, use a NYC Payment Submission Form (include each participant’s name and amount that goes toward them) and include one check from your church. Payments should be sent via check made payable to Sacramento NYI from your local church to the following address:

We may plan a stop in Reno to pick up participants from the Nevada area

Hike The Narrows and enjoy Zion National Park

Travel via charter buses back to Sacramento
*Late Night Event Information: These events are kept secret until the time of the event. They take place in the same location as the NYC sessions, but they do not reveal what the event is until the evening of in order to build suspense and excitement. It may be a concert, a comedian, or some other event of that nature. For instance, in 2019, the Newsboys and For King and Country were two of the late night events.
