The celebration of Christmas is all about Jesus. During this time of rejoicing in the birth of our Savior we want to intentionally bring our focus on Jesus. The words from Matthew 1:21 remind us of the reason Jesus came to earth:
“She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.”
The great part of the Christmas story centers on how God used a young girl named Mary to be the mother of Jesus. As we focus on Jesus this Christmas, let’s allow the life of Mary to remind us of what we must do to hear God and stay focused on Jesus.
