Life is full of encounters. An encounter can be a chance meeting, a planned gathering, a spontaneous celebration, or a painful accident. But every encounter leaves some form or impression. Whatever the circumstances surrounding the encounter, there will be some sort of impact on the persons involved. So it is when we encounter Christ Jesus. The Savior leaves His imprint on all who encounter Him. As we examine from the scriptures various encounters people had with Jesus, we must allow the Holy Spirit to leave the imprint of the Savior on our lives as He did then.
The encounter with Nicodemus was more than a statement of God’s love; it was a reminder of how Jesus has come to transform our very pattern for living. Let’s allow Him to do just that.
