Pastor Mark has been serving as Senior Pastor since June 1995. If you ask him, he will tell you that what he loves most is preaching the word of God and helping people discover real life in Jesus Christ. Pastor Mark is a graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University and Nazarene Theological Seminary and is currently working on his Doctorate of Ministry from Azusa Pacific University. He met his wife Debi in Kansas City, Missouri at Sunday School while he was a student and she was working as a nurse (ask him to tell you the whole story – it is really good!). Pastor Mark and Debi have three beautiful daughters - Erin, Emily, and Abby – and each one will tell you that they are daddy’s favorite! Pastor Mark loves spending time in the outdoors, whether hiking, biking, or just being with his family.
Pastor Austin grew up in Northern Indiana and attended Olivet Nazarene University, graduating with a BA in Youth Ministry in May 2009. He was the Youth Pastor at Dayton United Methodist Church for four years. Austin felt God's call to serve within the Nazarene Church and moved across the country to join Sutter Creek Church of the Nazarene as our Youth Pastor in the summer of 2013. Austin’s desire is to be used by God to develop and equip young men and women for His purpose. “I love youth, and the more I serve in ministry with them, the more I desire to invest in their lives in a way that will help each one of them and their families draw closer to our Heavenly Father."
Austin and his wife, Amber, met at Olivet and were married in May 2009. Amber is a Physician Assistant at Mercy Hospital of Folsom in the Emergency Department. Amber loves being involved with the youth group and is excited to support Austin in his calling. When Austin is not at church, you may find him watching his favorite football team, Da Bears. He loves outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, off-roading, water sports, and paragliding.
Pastor Kristina was born and raised in Carlsbad, California. After a family devotional time on the Parable of the Lost Sheep, Kristina realized she was special to God and that He loved her as His own sheep. Then, at the age of six, she received Christ in her heart. She and her family moved from California to Nampa, Idaho in 2007.
Kristina began serving as a youth leader at Nampa First Church of the Nazarene during her senior year of high school. That summer, God called her into the ministry. She continued to serve in the youth department until her sophomore year of college when she began serving as a Children’s Ministries intern. It was during that time that God gave her peace and direction in her call. She has been serving the Children’s Department of Nampa First for almost three years and is excited about her future as a Children’s pastor.
Kristina is a graduate of Northwest Nazarene University and holds a BA in Christian Ministries and a minor in Children’s Ministries. She is passionate about God, His Word, His children, and those who are not yet His children. During her time at NNU, she was involved in student government, played on the Tennis team, participated in almost every intramural sport, and was a member of the Crusader Choir. She is a member of the Nazarene church and holds a District Minister’s License. In time, she anticipates being ordained as an elder.
